Assessment/Development Centers
Assessment center is an evaluation process, which can be used to identify the future potential
of employees. Reference is made to a set of carefully formulated criteria based on the results
of a precise job analysis. It consists of the observation of candidates carrying out a variety of assignments,
individually or in a group over a period of two to three days. A number of different tools/simulations like
role-plays, in-tray exercises, group discussions, presentations, psychological tests etc. are used.
The observations of the candidates are done by multiple assessors. Results are used to make promotion, placement
or training decisions. Chatur works with companies right from the job analysis stage to the formulation of
the individual development plan at the end of the assessment/development center.
